Lately I am totally dying for lace and crochet dresses. I think it’s a real Summer thing. Summer always screams for sweet and romantic outfits, especially this one. Although it’s still black and white, it has a luxury romantic ‘Nashville’ vibe around it!
As you all know, lace and crochet are expensive. The reason why is how it’s made. Lace is a delicate fabric made of yarn or thread in an open web like pattern, made by machine or by hand. And when something is made by hand, nowadays it’s not that cheap!
Have you ever seen those beautiful lace and crochet dresses at ‘De Bijenkorf’? Self Portrait blows me every time away with its beautiful romantic collections each season. Hmm.. the price tag is something different. Dresses from Self Portrait starts at €350 euros and up (Yes, I’m not joking).
So these lace cravings had to stop and I looked for something comparable. And voila.. I found this dress (haha).
So the whole point of this story is my new fabulous crochet dress. It was not that kind of expensive, but on the other hand it looks quite chic. Wearing these cut out ankle boots again, because I cannot live without them. Thinking of buying them in white, but don’t know where to look. (If somebody knows where I can find them in white, please let me know?)

Hopefully my next blogpost will be about my next travel destination. I will be visiting France in next week. Very excited, ready to enjoy the holiday as a French madame after a few busy weeks at work!
